Scott Kane is a proud graduate of Northwestern University School of Law (J.D. cum laude, 2014) and the University of Michigan (B.A. Economics and Sociology, 2007). A longtime resident and political activist in Logan Square, Mr. Kane has dedicated his practice to community-focused affordable legal representation from day one. In addition to counseling several of Chicago’s most exciting small businesses, Mr. Kane enjoys subject matter expertise and litigation experience in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, personal injury, landlord-tenant, wage theft, and copyright law. Before practicing law, Scott enjoyed a career at the Center for Economic Progress, an anti-poverty non-profit dedicated to providing free financial services to low-income families in Chicago and the state of Illinois. In his personal time, Mr. Kane enjoys playing board/card games, studying history, and sampling the many taco-related delicacies of Logan Square.
